About Truepeak
Hi! My name is Pete McNamee and I started Truepeak in 2019. Since then I have been providing high quality instruction and guiding across the UK’s mountains and sea cliffs.
I run a variety of courses which cover everything from helping people with their tentative first steps onto the UK’s mountains through to those who want a boost on their way to big adventures.
Personally, I have been an active climber mountaineer for over 15 years. During which I’ve climbed all over the UK and Europe. I enjoy everything from a crisp days bouldering in the Peak District through to big routes in the Alps.
Along with my extensive personal experience I hold The Mountaineering And Climbing Instructor award (MCI) and Winter Mountain Leader qualifications. I am member of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) and The Mountain Training Association (MTA). More information about AMI can be found at:
